iPC-EX - the PC operator terminal for Zones 1, 2 and 22
iPC-EX is a PC operator terminal for the most challenging control and visualization tasks in hazardous areas (Zones 1, 2 and 22). It is an industry-standard local visualization solution for process control systems in chemical, pharmaceutical and petrochemical industries.
In the iPC-EX solution, only the operator control and monitoring elements such as monitor, keyboard and mouse are actually located in the hazardous area, while the PC is installed up to 1000 m away in the safe area. The PC hardware can be replaced - or the software updated - quickly, easily and without any restrictions in the safe area. Since the iPC-EX system accesses the standard PS/2 ports on the PC for the keyboard and mouse as well as the VGA output, any IBM-compatible PC can be used.
Pepperl+Fuchs offers a wide range of stainless steel case variants that comply with the IP 65 degree of protection, a choice of two different display sizes, an optional touchscreen, and maximum installation flexibility.
Modularity means maximum flexibility based on proven standard components.
Choose from 2 display sizes with a 15" or 18" screen diagonal. The monitors can optionally be supplied with a touchscreen.
All case variants (REX, LETO, FERA, AXENA and ORTRA) comply with the IP 65 degree of protection and satisfy even the most challenging ergonomic demands.
Four installation variants that merge flexibility with maximum stability: wall mounting, floor mounting, bracket mounting or panel mounting.
In the basic version without mouse function (EXTA-K1) or in versions with an integrated trackball (EXTA-K3) or touchpad mouse (EXTA-K4), the iPC-EX short-stroke membrane keyboards satisfy every possible operating requirement and are available with international layouts.リンク/Links
